Retro Summer Blog Party | Dress to Skirt

Paige of Sunday Best and All the Rest is having a fantastic retro themed Blog Party, so I thought now would be the perfect time to share a recent sewing alteration. Hopefully this is something of a forties look.

So, the skirt was the dress on the right, however, it didn’t fit very well. But with a few snips and stitches I now have a beautiful skirt that I’m getting much better use of. 🙂

Much thanks to Paige for hosting this fun party!

    • Yay for eShakti! The color and stripes are just perfect for summer, aren’t they?
Thanks! I briefly considered trying to alter it as a dress, but I do wear skirts more, so just opted for that instead.
Thank you so much for your comment! 🙂
